Vahati is sanskrit term for 'mobility'.

History 

Vahati, Inc owns Aventeon Software India Private Limited which was  earlier a subsidiary of the Seattle headquarted Aventeon Inc, co-founded in December 2000 by STS Prasad, Karel Doerner and Krishanu Seal. Aventeon, Inc went on to close two rounds of VC funding from Intel Capital, 3i and TVM.

Towards the end of 2005, STS Prasad, Krishanu Seal and Anil Maurya got together to form Vahati Inc.

Management Team

STS Prasad (President, Advisor, Director): STS Prasad is founder of Vahati Inc and CTO co-founder of Aventeon. He has several years of experience in the industry in entrepreneurial, management and technical roles. STS has served as the Chief Technology Lead at Amazon.com where he brought many innovative initiatives to life, such as the “Amazon Market-Place” and the "Universal Product Finder". Previously, he served as the Chief Technology Architect at Junglee, Inc. Prior to Junglee, STS worked at Sybase and HCL, as a database technology architect and developer.

STS holds Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Anil Kumar Maurya (Director): Anil Maurya is co-founder of Vahati Inc. and has joined Aventeon India as Software Specialist during december 2005. As a Director, Anil is responsible for product specification, design, development and Bangalore operations.

Previously, Anil served at Siebel Systems as Product development engineer in Siebel's Core technology UI framework and component group which are used as the foundation of scalable enterprise-level applications. Prior to Siebel, Anil took various technical roles at HP(IPG), Accelrys, Quark Media.

Anil holds Bachelor of Science degree from Dharampeth Science College, Nagpur University, India and Masters of Computer Applications from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute(HBTI), Kanpur India.

Bhaswati Seal (Director), is reponsible for making decisions and policies at Vahati India office.

Priviously, Bhaswati handled recruitment, Compensatation and Benefits, HR Policies - formulation & deployment, Performance Management at Aventeon Inc.

Bhaswati holds MS degree from University of South Carolina, Columbia, USA and MBA from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad (India).
