Position Objectives and Responsibility

 

Main Position Objectives:

Business Development Executive role will be pivotal to providing a solid base for rapidly expanding business and will be responsible for the implementation of all marketing principles. You will proactively assist in executing and compiling the companies marketing strategy whilst supporting business development through production of effective and proactive marketing collateral.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Candidate should have ability to present Vahati Products ( ASKbySMS service) details to Dealers, resellers in the market with reliable language to convince them. He should have basic knowledge of computer.
  • Analyse and Respond to queries via MRS.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the business and organizational dynamics, challenges and opportunities within the customer base in order to shape an appropriate market approach and to proactively make propositions.
  • Develop strategic customer engagement,partnerships plans to deepen and broaden ASKbySMS customer relationships.
  • Execute the strategy to meet short and medium-term sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities and deliver new business.
  • Manage and monitor own opportunities in the sales pipeline.
  • Contribute to the overall company strategy.
  • Provide constructive feedback to Vahati's product (ASKbySMS service) and business development functions.
 
The Candidate should also possess the following:
Dedicated professional with a proven track record in new business development (including target delivery) and an ability to demonstrate the commercial acumen to work and succeed in a fast growing environment.
 
  • Must be detail oriented, good problem solving skills .
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Must be willing to learn new technologies, be resourceful to solve complex challenges and work well under pressure.
  • Client facing communication skills i.e. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills  .
  • Good communication skills of  English,south Indian language & Hindi.
  • Experience in selling software products as service to consumers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the C2C marketplace and Classifieds Ads.
  • An understanding of the technology available to companies seeking to exploit.
  • Proven, successful sales track record.
  • Statistical analysis and reporting results – collating and assessing key data using Excel.
  • Creative mind to apply to keeping marketing collateral fresh and constantly evolving.
  • Positive attitude.
  • B.A / B.S in Business or related field.
  • A minimum of three years relevant sales experience
